West End Cemetery

Headstones, Markers, Maps and Census documents all pertaining to the West End Cemetery and its inhabitants. The land was originally deeded by Harmon L. Salsbury in 1895 to be used as an African American cemetery but it was not recorded or used for that purpose until 1909. There are 26 marked graves and two unmarked in the cemetery. The cemetery was deeded to the Vienna Historical Association in 1983 and is now one of only four historic cemeteries in the town.
